About IntervalTimers.org

A focused collection of free timers that work without an account.

Why this site exists

IntervalTimers.org was built to make structured timing available immediately. A useful timer should appear before a long explanation, expose the controls that matter, and remain readable when the user steps away from the screen.

The site covers several timing formats because they solve genuinely different problems. A general interval timer alternates work and rest. EMOM marks fixed boundaries. AMRAP uses one total countdown. Circuit mode loops named stations, while the workout builder follows a free-form timeline.

How the tools operate

Core timing runs in your browser and does not need an account or server-side training history. Validated settings may be saved in local storage on the current device. Absolute phase deadlines help correct delayed browser updates rather than relying on a callback arriving exactly once per second.

Audio, voice, fullscreen, and Screen Wake Lock depend on browser and device support. Each enhancement is detected at runtime and the timer continues when one is unavailable. The project does not claim a professional certification, medical role, user count, or accuracy ranking.

Feedback and corrections

Clear bug reports are welcome, especially when they identify a browser, device, timer mode, expected result, and actual result. The contact page displays an email link when the site owner has configured one.

Content explains how each timing format works and how to operate the tool. It is reviewed to avoid unsupported health claims, universal competition rules, and exercise prescriptions. See the disclaimer for the boundaries of this general-purpose service.
